| Introduction | I grew up in Salem. Twenty years ago I got my diploma from North Salem High and high-tailed it out of here for a life of adventure and satisfied wanderlust. Now, with two beautiful and amazing children along on my ride, I am returning to enjoy the cultural bounty and, hopefully, contribute to the community of my home. Providing diverse community-based activities to my kiddos is paramount in my strategy for raising active, inquisitive, intelligent, articulate, kind humans. As I researched opportunities in Salem, however, I discovered that while activities for children abound, there was no central source of information. A parent could spend more time looking for activities than participating in them! So, here is the offering of this prodigal daughter: a calendar with everything I can find for you to do with your kids in Salem and the surrounding Mid-Willamette Valley.
