| Introduction | I am generally opposed to most organized religion for the many reasons described in this blog. I believe in science, reason and application of sceptical thinking and the scientific method as the only valid means for discovering truth. I cannot deny the existance of God (or Gods) and I do recognize the spiritual nature in humans and the need for mental development and self-improvement. I find the arguments for the existence of God to be generally weak and unconvincing and the arguments against the existance of God to be limited and inconclusive. I do however wholly reject the notion of a personal God for which all the evidence is against. |
