Introduction	I am a self motivated and driven individual with a strong passion for Dance and Community Dance. I have a dynamic personality with strong organisational and time management skills.I have spent the past 10years teaching dance in the private sector covering age groups 2 ½yrs – Adult and have 4 years experience within the public sector covering ages 11-16yrs. I have enjoyed stepping out of the private sector and to the public forum of schooling in a local secondary comprehensive which has given me an opportunity to witness the transformative power of dance. It was a personal ambition of mine from an early age to have my own dance studio. The school is now in its tenth year with 220 students, 4 teachers and 3 administrators. The curriculum covers all areas in dance and performing arts including Ballet, Tap, Modern, Disco, Hip hop, Singing, Drama and Musical Theatre. Our school aim is to ensure inclusive training to give all students a chance to enjoy dance and performing arts in a friendly, professional and disciplined environment.During the course I am looking forward to understanding and testing my assumptions and developing my weaknesses as a researcher and as a teacher.
