| Introduction | Starting work in the theatre at the age of 13, Jay has always been creative. After leaving college, he started work full time as a lighting/sound engineer at a local concert venue. He still enjoys directing for video and stage presentations, as well as script writing, but after 12 years of the theatre life, he decided to change direction and return to higher education to further his life experiences. Having been an avid Internet user since 1994, and being interested in computing, he undertook a Computing Science degree in an attempt to gain the qualifications he needed to work in the USA, as there is little opportunity there without them. In those rare moments he is not writing code for his own website, he is also an avid Java, C++ and VB programmer, as well as a dab hand at Macromedia Flash, PHP and many other web technologies. Currently he is working on several different systems for some diverse clients for his company. Add to the list of skills his experience with Microsoft Advanced Servers as well as Linux/Unix systems, and it should be no surprise that he also works as a successful Technology Consultant all over the United Kingdom. |
