About me

Introduction	Just a little bit of background about me: I was introduced to birding when I was at Junior School by my father when he used to take me for long walks over the woods and fields behind Wecock Farm, Waterlooville. Here, he taught me bird calls and where birds nested. In Secondary School, I discovered Farlington Marshes, with school friends Andy Fisher and Geoff Farwell as my birding companions and my interest simply grew. 'Twitching' then took over and now on well over 400 species on my life list, 'Twitching' has took a back burner as I started discovering a more widespread interest in all nature, whether its moths, butterflies, plants and many other forms of wildlife.
