| Introduction | I am a 16 year old junior in high school and I have been riding since I was 8. I have loved horses from infancy and before I was allowed to take riding lessons, I read Pony Club, the Thoroughbred series, and any other horsey books I could get my hands on. Today, I know I still have a lot left to learn. I own a 1998 thoroughbred mare whose registered name is Born Again Slew, or Bailey for short. She came to me with 38 starts on the track, 6 years of riding off the track, basic dressage training, and loads of talent. She is my third horse, and the one with which I hope to finally realize my dreams of competing in 3 day eventing. We both have a long ways to go, but with the help of our trainer, we'll show the world what we're made of. |
