| Introduction | I am a marriage and family therapist and a columnist for The Darien Times in Darien, Connecticut where I write a column about family issues that is included on this blog. Currently a married mother of two, I chronicled my experiences as a first-time mom from pregnancy to preschool in a book entitled Tales from the Mom Front: The Misadventures of a First-Time Mom. I share my victories and defeats in the moments we don't know to expect when we're expecting to help other new parents recognize that the uncertainty, confusion, and contrasting emotions of joy and frustration are normal at this time. My stories are told with reality and humor and read like a conversation with a good friend. |
