Introduction Dale Andrews is a life-long Ellery Queen fan. He is the co-author of "The Book Case," an Ellery Queen pastiche that appeared in the May 2007 edition of Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine, and which won second place in the EQMM Readers' Choice awards for 2007 and was nominated for the 2007 Barry Award. Dale also authored "The Mad Hatter's Riddle," another Ellery Queen pastiche, which appeared in EQMM September/October 2009. Dale has written a series of articles on the works of Queen that were published on the Criminal Briefs website and on Ellery Queen -- a Website on Deduction. He was the second Queen scholar inducted into the West 87th Street Irregulars, and is a Retired Deputy Assistant General Counsel at the U.S. Department of Transportation. In addition to writing articles and fiction Dale currently teaches a graduate course in transportation regulation and history as Adjunct Professor at the University of Denver.
