Introduction Dale Andrews is a life-long Ellery Queen fan. He has been a regular contributor on the SleuthSayers blog and is the co-author of "The Book Case," an Ellery Queen pastiche novella that appeared in the May 2007 edition of Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine, and which won second place in the EQMM Readers' Choice awards for 2007 and was nominated for the 2007 Barry Award. Dale also authored several other Ellery Queen pastiches, including the upcoming "Four Words," each of which has been or will be published in EQMM. Dale and Josh Pachter have co-edited the pastiche anthologies The Misadventures of Ellery Queen and the forthcoming The Further Misadventures of Ellery Queen. Dale has also authored a series of articles on the works of Queen that were published on SleuthSayers, the Criminal Briefs website and on Ellery Queen -- a Website on Deduction. He was the second Queen scholar inducted into the West 87th Street Irregulars, and is a retired Deputy Assistant General Counsel at the U.S. Department of Transportation and former adjunct professor at the University of Denver.
