| Introduction | Gave up the day job in 1992. Five crime novels in the 90s but now write literary short fiction and teach Creative Writing. TEACHING QUALIFICATIONS? I'm a tough critic but will sweat blood to get people published. Fifteen first prizes in literary competitions, have also won two seconds, a fourth and two final placings in The Bridport Prize. To date Boot Campers have won 126 First Prizes. Ex-bootcampers have won many more. Approximately 40 Craft articles sold, lost count of the number of competitions I've judged. Married to Debbie.
