| Introduction | I am Lizardo, a self taught artist from the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I paint for the pure fun and joy that I feel when I paint. I hope those feelings come through to the viewer and to those that own one of my works. I find that painting expresses things I cannot put into words and frees me to be myself. I am a free spirit and bore easily. This leads me to experiment with new texture and techniques on a regular basis. I love to read fashion magazine, try new restaurants, shop, attend art and food festivals, listen to music and hang out downtown. I use professional grade paints on staple-free canvas. The sides are painted so no hanging is necessary. I choose to sign the back because I like the option of hanging them anyway you please. There is never a right or wrong way to hang my paintings. In fact, I enjoy it when someone hangs it in a direction I had not thought of before. This year, I have shown work at the 500x Gallery and at Sundance Scooters during The Arts Goggle in Fort Worth.
