| Introduction | I am a 50 something Guernsey Advocate working for the States of Guernsey. I share a house with a long-standing friend and two cats (Cosmos and Damian). I am also a Benedictine Oblate attached to St. Cecilia's Abbey on the Isle of Wight. My faith as a Roman Catholic is central to my life and through endeavouring to live my life according to the Rule of St. Benedict I try to balance work, family and friends with my prayer and faith life. I am currently spending 10 weeks working alongside Caritas Nebbi in the far north west of Uganda, assisting them in project development with a particular focus on educational provision in isolated communities. |
