| Introduction | so i'm a teacher of the Deaf in an inner city high school in buffalo. i am married to gerry... he has been the love of my life since 8th grade. we have 2 crazily fabulous boys, clayton (6 and a HALF!!!)and carter (2). growing up, my mother was pretty much the town seamstress. most people in the surrounding zip codes had their prom dresses (then bridesmaid dresses, and then even later, wedding dresses) as well as other various tailoring done by my mom. she never taught me how to sew though. it was easier for her to do things for me than to teach me how to do them myself. it was not until last november when i was taking a class with hollyhocks (check out her link, she rocks!) that i started to get my sew on. then, by chance tina found out i was sewing and we started talking sewing, and ever since then we have both been sewing like it is nobodies business! |
