| Introduction | Am married to a handsome and witty photographer called Brendan O'Neill and have three lively boys Daniel (7), Caolan (5) and Finn (nearly 2) and one beautiful baby daughter, Maoliosa. Am one of four children. Live in Derry. I've been a journalist for around 13 years. Worked in various regional newspapers as a news reporter. Joined the Irish News nine years ago as a sub-editor. Was Deputy Chief there for few years. Started writing a weekly parenting column for the paper when my middle son was three weeks old. Five years on it has charted our family's journey through thick and thin. Set up my own business in 2006. Wrote, designed and published a number of Northern Ireland-wide glossy magazines, four titles in total. Have produced a few parenting related publications also over the years and am an alleged expert on parenting when the occasion or publication calls for it. Am a public relations and media guru, consulting for many businesses within the north west. Am also a pretty nifty graphic designer. Want to finish my book this year and get it published. |
