| Introduction | I live for the sun, for books, music & the American military kicking ass wherever it needs kicking; I'm a gun-toting member of the NRA; flew across Afghanistan in Blackhawks; over Montana snow behind sled dogs and through the wheat driving a combine; climbed mesas of New Mexico; skiied Colorado & the Zugspitz; rappelled; served both the Army and Air Force as enlisted & officer; ran the console of live Patriot missiles on the southern tip of Bahrain; monitored the Hungarian ECP from Bosnia; fought the neo-jihad with CENTCOM from MacDill, Qatar, Afghanistan & Djibouti; re-married my first Army SGT husband of 25 years ago; escorted First Lady Clinton during the de-activation of the Berlin Brigade and the Gov. of Maryland (25th ID) during the 50th Anniversary of D-Day in Normandy; just completed chemo and beat Hep-C then breast cancer via bi-lat mastectomy; have degenerative arthritis in my lumbars from humping a ruck sack in Army ROTC and am medically retiring after almost 20 years. I strongly believe this current war threatens the foundations of Western civilization and I intend to find a way to continue to fight it and support those giving their blood. |
