Introduction Hey, I’m Robert L Allen. I spent 25 years working for and with the US government in emergency operations - FEMA and the FAA, I have a lot of opinions on a variety of subjects as my experience and interests cover a wide spectrum of topics. I was a government problem solver and wrote many white papers and manuals regarding emergency operations and continuity of operations during catastrophes. I was trained through FEMA in 100-400 series as well as a certified COM-L. I provided technology consult, oversight, and management, for operations during contingencies. I managed SATCOM and radio relays for border operations in Arizona as the Military S6, I managed spectrum authorizations and all communication needs for emergency operations in Oregon as the state telecommunications manager. I worked in satellite antenna station remote management and control in the FAA. I am a 90%+ DAV in full retirement.
