Introduction	My family and I moved here from South Bend, Indiana in February 2005. I am happily married and have four beautiful children: Mason, 13; Trevor, 10; Mackenzie, 6; J.R., 2. My husband is a teacher and basketball coach at Charlotte High School and was my biggest inspiration for wanting to become a teacher. Since graduating high school, I have always worked with children and enjoyed the interaction and rewarding experiences it brought to my life. After relocating in 2005, I decided it was time to make my dreams come true and enrolled at Edison College, Punta Gorda. After completing my AA, I began taking classes at FGCU on the Edison campus. It has been a blessing being able to attend FGCU classes so close to home! I am currently in block three for my elementary education degree, aiming for grades K-3, although I will be happy with teaching any level. I am looking forward to graduating next year!!
