Introduction | I am neither an introvert or an extrovert, I do what I do because I can and because it makes me feel alive - I care not what others think of me, or what they think they know. I study photography at Camberwell College of Arts and i'm currently in my first year. The course is focused mainly on fine art photography and this is why I was so eager to get onto the course, as it is fine art that intrigues me the most! I use this blog as a way to show what i'm up to, and what is influencing me - be it poetry, music or other things. I didn't make it to be popular, it is an extension of me - somewhere to get rid of the luggage I carry around. I may post a lot, but in this technological age I see a blog as an alternative to personal notebooks where I can't get much feedback. I am always on the search for inspiration, and critique so please don't hesitate to say anything you think on either here, or my flickr. |
Interests | Photography, image manipulation, manual photography, 35mm and 120 film, flickr, facebook, music, travelling, learning languages, thinking about things, arguing, gardening, babysitting Max the puppy... |
Favorite movies | I am a fan of Johnny Depp and Paul Bettany, both are strong characters and actors whom make their specific "roles" their own in each film. My favourite film is most certainly "From Hell" but closely followed by "Labyrinth" and many other films I just can't think of right now. |
Favorite music | I am quite open when it comes to music, but my favourite bands are definately In Flames, Nevermore, Gojira, Lamb of God and Papa Roach... you can see what I listen to on Last.FM - http://www.last.fm/user/JAYDEJESTERHEAD |
Favorite books | I love anything by Harlan Coben, P.J Tracy, Dan Brown, Jonathan Kellerman, Mark Billingham and several other crime/thriller authors.. I love anything with a quick pace and a high body count. |
