| Introduction | Welcome to Poppy's Blog. I was born in Salinas and raised on a farm in Silicon Valley. I honed my accounting, administration skills and business knowledge working in large accounting firms in the Bay area, Carmel and Monterey. I also took on a President Title to a land acquisition company in Pebble Beach and Paso Robles and served as a Trustee for several individuals in the Monterey County. I now live in the country for a slower pace of life. I guess some would say I am going back to my roots. I am a writer and have a few short stories, manuscripts out there but not published yet. My plan is to enjoy every minute of my life with my family especially my granddaughter Sophia. Everyday we tend to the garden with our toes in the dirt and the sun in our faces. We take hikes and ride our bikes. At night we love sitting outside and counting the shimmering stars or dancing. |
