IntroductionSince the 9/11/2001 WTC attack the situation(s) in the Middle East grew from a conscious awareness into a project of learning all I could about all the entities involved. In late 2005 and early 2006 I began a more intense research of Islamic history and its personalities. This research has expanded to include many of the political entities associated with the various facets of this global conflict. As my knowledge has grown, so has my apprehensions about Islam as it is represented by its more radical leaders and their supporters. This alarm has prompted me to add another voice of alarm about what appears to be concerted attacks against modern civilization. During this self-pace learning I have relied extensively on scores of Internet blogs, sites, and search engines. I have also utilized the hundreds of links included in web postings. I am slowly building a library of books including two translations of the Quran.
