Interests	Reading! I have been working through the Newbery Winners (children's literature) for the last year or so. The Newbery list has helped me find great books to read aloud to the children. I am also currently reading Bridges Out of Poverty, which I highly recommend to anyone who is interested in helping someone escape generational poverty.
Favorite movies	Family Man (makes me feel good about choosing family versus career)
Favorite music	After watching American Idol this season, I realized how much of a Beatles fan I still am. I also realized that for me, if a song is a good song (makes you feel or remember or hope or wish or celebrate) then I usually like it, no matter what genre it is.
Favorite books	Newbery winners: The Witch of Blackbird Pond (not what it sounds like), Up a Road Slowly, Holes, The Door in the Wall, The Whipping Boy, and The Tale of Desperaux. Picture books: Stellaluna, Emma Kate, and Shh! Everybody's Sleeping.
