| Introduction | I have growing passion and playful curiosity in the potential of food to transform our lives, health and environment. Throughout my own life, I’ve noticed the role food has played in my mood, energy level and even overall quality of life. I know when I’m on-the-go, sitting in front of a computer a lot and eating poor quality food – I’m not a happy camper (those who know and love me, can attest to this). Several years ago, I took gluten/wheat out of my diet and felt like a different person (more awake, clear, and less tired). Since then I’ve been working with recipes to figure out what foods make my stomach and soul smile. Over the course of the past couple years it became clear that the process of working with my own health through crafting foods into creative, healing dishes – had become a love of mine that I wanted to develop and share. |
