| Introduction | I am a Biology Instructor at the University of British Columbia and recpient of the 2007/08 Faculty of Science Killam Prize for Excellence in Teaching. My Ph.D. is in Ecology and Evolution from the University of Stony Brook, NY for work on sexual selection and speciation in fireflies. I also have an interest in acting and have been portraying a young Charles Darwin for the past four years to classes and conferences in a wide variety of locations. |
