| Introduction | There is nothing fascinating about me. I only hope to do some fascinating things in my lifetime. A part of this fascinating idea was going to France with 20-some other students for an Oklahoma State University Study Abroad Program from May 24 - June 19, 2007. So, welcome to my fascinating French blog. |
| Interests | Writing (fiction, poetry and ridiculous blog posts), post-modern jokes, flowers, politics!, news writing, weird words, music, shopping at Target, reading, questions about religion, people who make me laugh, going to concerts and shows, traveling, indulging my curiosity, hitting the bookstore, making fun of the TV, goofing off, France, volunteering (with DVIS/Call Rape), adding to and perfecting my iTunes collection, drinking excessive amounts of coffee, sitting in coffeehouses, lolcatz, thinking about coffee ... and, when the coffee runs out ... napz! |
| Favorite movies | Amelie, The Godfather (only 1 & 2), Eagle vs. Shark, Once, all Harry Potter movies, Mostly Martha, Goodfellas, and any documentary. |
| Favorite music | The national, Franz Ferdinand, I Am Kloot, Gnarls Barkley, The Format, Green Day, U2, Death Cab for Cutie, Radiohead, The Killers, Radiohead, Beck, Hem, Iron and Wine, Sufjan Stevens, Yann Tiersen, Ben Lee, The White Stripes! and Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Billie Holiday, and Dean Martin. |
| Favorite books | More like favorite writers: Michael Chabon ("The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay" and "Wonder Boys") and David Sedaris ("Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim"). Also love Truman Capote, Victor Hugo, John Steinbeck, Diane Ackerman, Anne Lamott and J.K. Rowling; my favorite local/Bay Area poets are James Cagney and Jodi Angel, fellow Susurrus writers, because they are so amazing they should be famous. I also firmly believe that "Jane Eyre" is the most satisfying read ever. books that smell delicious. |
You've rented a sky-writer to propose to your significant other, but it's completely overcast. What will you do?
write it down in chalk instead ... along the sidewalk for blocks ... and wait for it to rain.
