Introduction	Ashley Atkins studied philosophy and linguistics at the University of Toronto. In the fall, she starts her doctorate at Princeton. Her research interests include linguistics (especially formal semantics), jokes, the history of analytic philosophy and logic (though she is too embarrassed to complete the 'Which Logical System Are You?' quiz on Facebook, which would prove this). Blogging seemed like a good idea.
