| Introduction | A recent graduate from Textile Design at Chelsea College of Art I am now seeking employment in the textile design industry. Having specialised in constructed textiles and in particular weave, I have gained knowledge of fabric construction, fibres and both finishing and dyeing techniques. I am also particularly interested in pushing the boundaries of colour relationships through mixing, blending and achieving painterly effects. My exchange at a Parisian Textile College gave me a new outlook on the approach and execution of my work and allowed me to gain extensive technical skills. With these in mind, I have been able to develop ideas on how to combine classics in a new, original way. |
