| Introduction | I live in Tucson, Arizona and have a rather varied employment history. I was "downsized" in January of 2009 and spent the next seven months trying out oddball, fun gigs, then suffering the slow summer season without more than two days of work per month. I hit a low point in July and now, at last, things are looking better as I return to the more noble and comfortable status of "starving college student". I am a "rook-out" at the University of Arizona: a senior transfer student starting at the bottom in freshman classes to obtain a second Bachelor's degree in Rangeland Management. This blog will now cover the trials and tribulations of college life at age 30. Whether low-income, unemployed, or in college, I'm still stuck using cardboard furniture. |
