| Introduction | National University of Singapore Skateboard Club was formed in April 2008 by a group of individuals who shared the love for skateboarding and the desire to spread the love. With established clubs like the inline skating and the Wakeboarding club it would seem like a natural progression to have a skateboarding club in school to cater to the skateboarders on campus. The club gives new and old student alike a more exciting choice of CCAs to join. The club would also signal to potential students out there that in NUS it is not wrong to be smart and cool at the same time. Finally, it is an avenue for undergraduates not keen on conventional team sports to creatively express themselves as individuals.
