| Introduction | I'm a New Yorker/Jersey Girl currently living in West Philadelphia with my husband and our daughter and dog. I studied psychology and English at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ and was an editor at a clinical journal for a few years before switching to the nursing profession. In 2012, I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing's program for second-degree nurses and I currently work part-time as a college health nurse with a focus in women's health. Exile in Momville documents a few parts of my life as a mother. The name of this blog was inspired by one of my favorite albums, Liz Phair's Exile in Guyville. My previous blog is the now defunct food blog, Mutual Menu (http://mutualmenu.blogspot.com) and I have contributed to the blogs Vegans of Color and Girl With a Satchel. If you want to read my more ranty, political side, my Twitter handle is @JosellePalacios and there are plenty more baby pictures on Instagram at bearandcub. I am not on Facebook. Thank you for stopping by. |
