| Introduction | Three IPFW Nursing faculty and 9 graduate students will be going to Santiago, Dominican Republic in January 2011. We are going as part of the Barnabas Task, whose goal is fresh water, health education and micro-finance. The goal is to provide health care at a mobile clinic. A needs assessment will also be done while we are there, including the community and community leaders. The students will return, analyze the data, and as their capstone project, will design a self-sustaining patient education program, that will be given to the community for future use. |
