Introduction	"Eu sou quem eu sou" I am who I am... You'll see that most of the things I post have an Asian influence but sometimes I enjoy non-Asian cuisine as well so don't hate me for posting those dishes as well. Being Southeast Asian (Laotian to be exact) and growing up in the U.S. also gives me the opportunity to create unique and eclectic dishes with wonderful ingredients you can find at local markets, mom's backyard, and even my own patio. A lot of the inspiration from these dishes come from publications such as Bon Appetit, television programs, internet searches and of course dining out. Hopefully you will be able to recreate some of these dishes with success and enjoy them as much as I do. But if for some reason you don't succeed or the flavor or texture for that matter doesn't please you, I would like to apologize in advance. But with your feedback maybe I can make adjustments in my technical writing to make it clearer for everyone else to read as well. Last but not least, some of the dishes may have traditional names but by no means will it tastes like or remind you of your mom's, grandma's, aunt's, etc. cooking. That wasn't the intention of this blog and will never be.
