| Introduction | Founder of Centre of Cross-Saharan Ceramic Research, Siwa Oasis. Egypt. We are presently renovating an old karsheef house (saltbrick and clay) to accommodate this exciting new venture. Our intention is to forge an ongoing and supportive relationship with local potters and provide residencies and research opportunities within the extended field of ceramics to those interested in visiting this fascinating oasis. Zeneb Maghrebi is preparing to commence PhD practice-led research at University of Sunderland in 2014. |
