| Introduction | My name is Tracy Halverson. I have been in the Early Childhood field for over 30 years. I owned and operated my own family child care group for over 18 years and taught in a private school as a preschool teacher (ages 2.5 - 5 years) for 4 years. I had 64 children each year. I am a single mom of 4 young adults. My son is a Marine served two tours in Afghanistan (June 2010 -Jan 2011) (Nov 2011 - June 2012). My son was shot the first tour and is a hero. He is my hero! He is married and has a new baby girl that is just 10 weeks now. I have three daughters one is married and two discovering their lives. I have a 2 handsome grandsons one who is 8 years and one who is 10 months I love them dearly. I am continuing my education at Walden University so that I can have that professional creditial and I want to make a difference in the lives of children, parents and community. I would like to open my own school again one day. I graduated from the University of Phoenix in Business Management and Marketing in 2006. I would like to hear feedback and information on yourself and other stories and experiences with your life and children and family. |
