Introduction	PEN Pakistan Centre (PENPC) is a non-political, non-governmental and non-profit association registered on February 2, 2002 under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 with the Registrar, Joint Stock Companies, Lahore District. Syeda Henna Babar Ali is the President of PENPC. The office of PENPC is located at Ali Institute of Education, Ferozepur Road, Lahore Mr. Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi, the renowned literary personality of Pakistan, in the presence of many writers including members of PENPC, formally inaugurated the office on November 16, 2002. The mission Of PENPC is to promote a vital literary community in Pakistan; to arouse and maintain interest in the written word, and to advance freedom of expression.
