| Introduction | Like the rest of us, I think, I'm still finding out who I am. At my best I'm a dreamer, a writer, a hiker of hills and climber of mountains, a diligent home maker, queen of the soup pot, a woman rich in humor and love, a good friend and a good Christian, an amateur photographer, a woman who adores Christmas lights with a childish passion, and a gleeful celebrant of crunchy leaves in Autumn. Sometimes, though, I'm not, and I become intensely aware that I am numbered among the broken things of this world - another part of Creation in desperate need of hope and redemption.
