Introduction	I've been a TV news reporter, TV weather forecaster, public relations specialist, and now, children's author (guess which one is my favorite)! Since 2002, I've published 80 fiction and non-fiction books for kids. I write the JULEP O'TOOLE (Penguin) series and SECRETS OF A LAB RAT (Aladdin) series. My most recent nonfiction work includes BACKYARD SAFARI (Marshall Cavendish), a hands-on project series for kids. Look for my new tween novel, STEALING POPULAR (Aladdin MIX) in the fall of 2012.
