Introduction	The author graduated from California State University, Chico with a Bachelor of Arts in Bilingual Liberal Studies and received her Teaching Credential from the University of San Diego. She is a member of BookPALS, a program of the SAG foundation. Nikki lives in Los Gatos, California with her husband, Brett and toddler son, George and their beloved Shih Tzu, Jackie O'. She surrounds herself with a personal book collection including memorable classics from her own childhood and hopes to instill her same love and respect for books in her children, whom she has started a very special collection for already.
