| Introduction | I am a new mom, so welcome me to the 'hood, right? Well I have a one year old daughter and we live in the most beautiuful place in the world, Hawaii. I graduated from BYU-Hawaii with a degree in business, my husband in information systems. We both said goodbye to subsidized rent at BYUH's married housing and just love paying ridiculous rent in Honolulu (not!) My days are divided into playdates, going to the gym, visiting friends, cooking home-made delicious meals for my husband and going to Laie at every chance we get (love the North Shore). After a year I am finally enjoying being a mom, it gets easier as they say. I finally feel like I got my body back, well at least I got back to my pre-pregnancy weight, and looking at that I still have some more weight to lose. I love that I don't have a boss to answer to and I don't have to wake up early and have the long commute I used to have when I was working. |
