| Introduction | I'm currently living in Fort Myers, FL and attending Florida Gulf Coast University. I'm a graduate student in the nurse anesthesia program. I moved here and started the program in January 2011 and will graduate in May 2013. Though I have lived in numerous places between America and Europe, I consider myself to be a true Texan. I left everything I know back in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex to move to Fort Myers and obtain my goals of becoming a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA). My husband, Wilburn, and I have been married for over three years and we have two wonderful dogs, Nova and Windsor. Unfortunately, along with having high ambitions, I also had to leave my three loves back in Texas. So, though I consider my heart to be back in Texas, my head is in Fort Myers...either in the operating room or stuck in a book. The separation is tough, but we are making it work. I'm happy that I decided to come to Fort Myers and I love being in the operating room and learning everything I need to know to become a successful CRNA, but I am ready to return to The Lone Star State.
