Introduction	My mama sometimes calls me Lee Lee. My roommate likes Carrieboo. My best friend of 16 years will probably always refer to me as Beezy. I embrace them all but if it were up to me? Carrie Elysia. Has a nice ring to it right? In that funky-country-double-name-having way. I'm an English major in Obama's new home. I was born and raised in the beautiful city by the bay. My roots, though? Well, one day I'll fill a novel with the "where I'm really from" story but for breivty's sake, I'm a little mixed up creole baby. For the most part, my big white, brown, black, blonde, purple, polka dot family comes from the Big Easy... and as of recently, Australia. Who knew? Most of the pictures I post are the art of others that I am just admiring. If the written word lacks quotations or citation, then the author is little old me. Surprise! I love jazz. I love language. I pretend that I am not romantic, but I don't pretend well. And I google everything. Ev-er-y-thing.
