| Introduction | I've spent a lot of my life juggling. When I say juggling, I mean I've always had very broad interests and passions and I often felt torn between which ones to choose, so I would choose all of them. For example, I was always torn between two sports ie gymnastics and competitive swimming, or competitive swimming and track & field,etc, so I would juggle both sports at the same time. I wasn't the coach's dream, I'll tell you that much. I was even conflicted in deciding whether I wanted to go the pre-med route or the pre-law route when I was in high school, so I took the prereqs for both. Upon starting this blog last year, I've stopped juggling. I am fully committed to racing triathlon for the near future (ok, so that is technically 3 sports posing as 1), and I have put my med school aspirations on hold in the mean time. I thought it would be a great opportunity for me to take the next couple of years to see how far I can go in this sport, and then re-evaluate my priorities again after those two years. This blog will report my experiences and adventures as they unfold on my triathlon journey. |
