Introduction	I was a single mom to a beautiful baby boy, born in Guatemala and into my heart in October of 2003. Then I met my husband, who took on the beautiful baby boy, an aging and incontinent Samoyed, a crazy and paranoid and man-hating coyote dog, a delicate cat who believes herself to be a dog or a lovely French woman, and me — none of which was he prepared for but he was willing to learn along the way. The incontinent dog has passed away, the crazy dog is now on Xanax (which she generously shares with me), a psycho cat has been added to the mix, the beautiful baby boy is now a beautiful and passionate kindergartner, and we have our deliciously round and fierce daughter home. She is the new boss, and we are so very grateful to serve her.
