Introduction	I was a Maternity/OB Nurse and Lactation Consultant with a passion for helping new mothers and babies. 2009 changed my life forever, I became a new mom, was diagnosed with cervical cancer, had major surgery and completed cancer treatment. In 2010 I went for another round of treatment and a life changing surgery. 2011 with my active toddler, I was back in the battle fighting with systemic chemotherapy and surgery. And yes in 2012 the story continues, more cancer, 5th reoccurance equals more treatment. This chronic cancer is relentless. But I continue to fight for my life. On a more upbeat note, I have a not-so-secret love for cheesy (mostly 80's) music. I love to laugh and am exploring all my options for living in the here and now, healing my body, mind and soul. I am a mama warrior.
