| Introduction | I am an interloper. A nobody in the world of wine. I don't even live in wine country; I live in Northern Ontario, next to a bay that's frozen half the year. I live in a province with some of the strictest liquor laws in the Western world. My access to wine is severely limited by geography and circumstance. I have absolutely no business writing about wine. Except, I love wine. I LOVE wine. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. I love big wine, I love subtle wine. I love cold climate wine, I love warm climate wine. I love the diversity, the possibility, the artistry of wine. I love the history, I love the process..I love it all! I need an outlet for all of this passion, and this is it. I am not a sommelier. I am not in the industry. I am a wine drinker. |
