| Introduction | I was raised with an artist mom, so creative things and color were always around us. Seems like I was in this spot in the 80's and it's all back! I did alot of fiber then, even some spinning and now it's even bigger and better! I started Happy Hands Yarn about 5 years ago and have been moving forward since. With much encouragement from my friends it stays very exciting. I dye intense colors, love to put strange combo's together. I do all different kinds of yarn, but since I lauched "Toe Jamz" I've spent alot of time on sock yarn. I'm doing silks now with much success and who knows what will be next. My merino and worsted are always popular plus I do roving. I do as many show's as I can in the midwest. I also have a website, happyhandsyarn.com/ Trying to keep these all up to date is wild, but I'm trying. I hope to see you all out there soon and posted on all that goes on. |
| Interests | When time permits, baking pies, flower gardens, fishing with my husband, shopping for anything! |
| Favorite movies | All the Shirley Temple movies! Classics and oldies, Jimmy Stewart etc. |
| Favorite music | Elton John, all the music in the 60-70's. |
| Favorite books | I would eat up every Stephen King book I got my hands on. Now if I can stay awake it will be a knitting book, or color book. Love the new Knitting socks with Handpainted yarn by Carol Sulcoski, just got Color Knitting Techniques by Margaret Radcliffe, think I will really like this. Love all of Deb Menz books |
