| Introduction | I'm really simple and I take notice of the simple things because they speak volumes. I'm a people watcher and I'm learning and praying to be a part of a moment in people's lives where they feel value and a love greater than they have ever known. If all that can be said of me is "She loved", then I will be satisfied. I'm a single mom and have been now for about 6-7 years. I won't go into details because this fact I know: My circumstances do not define me. God defines me, and through circumstances He molds me. So, no matter how difficult or joyful, I'm grateful. The most important thing about experiencing things is that your heart becomes sensitive to those who will go through the same things. This is an advantage and blessing. I have two awesome kids who are growing me up fairly well. ;) We are small town people. I'm still shocked I knew how to even open up a blog. Every day God shows himself to me in ways that precious to just me. That's how I know He lives. There's soo much to write, but I guess that's what a blog is for when the intro might not allow enough letter characters. This is me. Healed and my scars I wear proudly. God bless this. |

| Favorite movies | As much of a tomboy as I am, I have to grudgingly admit that I like chic flicks. Not froo-frooy flicks. But girly ones with some humor and smarts and of course love. Forget "The Notebook" and give me "Leap Year"! :D True story sports movies. Documentaries. I have fun finding movies that no one has heard about. When you find a gem in this area, it's usually well worth it. I love all the movies coming out based on faith. Much needed. |

| Favorite books | Bible ;) / A Crazy Love/ Heaven Is For Real/Intercessory Prayer/Ascend in Worship, Descend into War/You Were Born For This/The Heavenly Man/Have A New Kid By Friday/Awakening A Slumbering Christianity/The Brave Hearted Gospel/God, Speak To Me/ Several true life stories. The last I read completely that blew me away was "Same Kind of Different As Me". Excellent book. I have to look up the rest. Does half read stuff count? Because I have about a dozen of those going at any given time. |
