Introduction	Echo Base is a hub for calls to action on behalf of preserving American democracy, with an emphasis on the Minnesota political scene. Areas of focus include the safeguarding of checks and balances, protection of voting rights and freedom of expression, affirmation of diversity/ inclusion as an enrichment of our national identity, the fostering of civic engagement, and the defense of institutions that benefit the American people collectively– from government to academia to journalism to the arts and sciences. In these posts you’ll find: calls to action with an emphasis on engagement with elected officials and the mechanics of the electoral process; encouragement to participate in protests and other opportunities to make our voices heard collectively; and information on the activities of groups dedicated to the values raised above.
