| Introduction | I am diagnosed with 4th stage NSCLC ( Non small cell lung cancer ) in June 2008 and start my first chemo treatment in July 2008 . Been thro' 6 cycles of Carboplatin + Taxol ; 2 1/2 months of targeted chemo drug , Tarceva ; 3 cycles of Cisplatin + Alimta and last chemo in Sept 2009 with 3 cycles of Alimta . It is not a easy journey, but, I am glad that I make it with God's grace and all the support from my family , relatives and friends. The treatment not manage to eliminate the cancer tumour from my lung, but, it did stabilised my condition. After much reading about cancer ; cancer treatment and many sharing from cancer survivor, I have decided to learn how to live with it .
