| Introduction | IND [Inter National Design] is an office of architecture and urbanism based in Rotterdam, The Netherlands lead by Arman Akdogan (Turkey) and Felix Madrazo (Mexico). IND is a young practice in expansion that has an international portfolio with projects in different parts of Europe, Northern Africa, Central Asia, Turkey and Mexico. The office has been involved in projects of different scales and complexity, from bridges and villas, social housing models, studies on renewal of neighborhoods to urban expansion of cities. Its main guideline has been the plain definition of strategies that respond precisely to site, program and client demands incorporating public participation on the brief definition. IND functions as the SUPERSUDACA branch in The Netherlands. Supersudaca is an international think tank of architecture and urban research that also has offices in Argentina, Peru, Chile, Curacao, Uruguay and Belgium. Supersudaca has been recognized with the best entry award of Rotterdam Architecure Biennale and has published research reports in Volume, Architectural Design, Praxis and Arquine among others. |
