| Introduction | “FASHION IS ART AND HUMANS ARE MY CANVAS”, is Candace Alicia’s philosophy. Born Oct 26th and raised no where else but Queens, NY. NY taught her to appreciate Art & Culture. Winning various Scholarships and awards in the Science of Arts, She decided to use her gifts for fashion design. “I WANT MY CREATIVITY TO AFFECT PEOPLE SO MUCH THAT THEY WEAR IT AS A GARMENT”. She attended F.I.T in New York all while working for the best men’s wear designer, Sean John, to strengthen her Men’s Wear skills. She relocated to Florida in 2002 (Orlando, Tampa (to finish her BA degree) and finally landing in Miami to pursue her fashion career as Asst. Designer for KRELwear). Candace is also the Executive Director of the Million Dollar Baby Society, which influences and inspire the youth to follow their dreams while accumulating financial gain. Candace prides herself on being multi-talented: singing, writing songs and spoken word, Designing and Sewing, unmeasurable art capabilities, Dancing to various forms of music. She is a role model for the younger generation who believes in FAITH and is not afraid to step out in it and take a chance knowing w/ God you can do ALL things. |
| Interests | I am a very passionate person, passionate about life and people. Very generous, very humble, far from conceited cause its too over-rated, I love shopping, I love fancy cars and I love getting dolled up and doing girly-things, I love simple things like lazy sundays where i just lounge around at the crib, I love attending fashion shows, I love going to North Miami to shop, I like the art fairs that they have on Sundays, I love driving to Orlando on the weekends, I just turn my MOOD music up and I’m in my zone when i sit at that sewing machine, I love my family to death, I love my tom-boy side that fits in so well with the guys, I love my sense of humor-its crazy!!, I love going to dinner with my girls or hitting up the Miami Night life scene, I use EVERY opportunity to net-work. I like being “creative” in the kitchen, I’m a modern girl with a few traditional views.” I love the Lord and try not to waiver, but I’ll get it right VERY soon.” |
