Introduction	Love, loneliness, and long distance running. This is me. The me after I've shed all the roles I play day in and day out. Mother. Daughter. Co-worker. Sister. Aunt. Friend. This is the me that exists in sleepless thought and emotional ups and downs. I don't date much. I don't trust many...any. And I almost want to give up because of the emotional turmoil that bursts to life when I do try to venture out. But I have to keep some hope. Because without hope, my heart would already be dead. I run. A bit. But I run to teach me not to give up. Not to give up physically. Emotionally. Spiritually. This marathon of life. This marathon to love. Love me. Love life. I know there's going to be lots of LONELY in between. Just like on long stretches of a run when you see no one for miles. Listening to your feet hit the pavement. Measuring your own breathing and stress level. But who knows....maybe you can meet someone along the way who can match your pace and your goals? We shall see. Care to join this run?
